About the Blog
This blog was motivated by my desire to save others from scammers. I had observed the rise of scammers attempting to scam people through channels such as phone calls, social media, fake websites, get-rich-quick schemes, radio, television, etc, and I felt disgusted about it. So I thought to myself, “What am I doing with my writing skills?” In this block, I cover three main areas: (1) scams I have identified, (2) my personal experiences of scams, good services and bad services and (3) general issues, including government policies, affecting the livelihoods of people. The purpose of the blog is to help others by informing them, and drawing the attention of relevant authorities and the general public to happenings that reduce the quality of live of citizens. Thus the name of the blog: The Citizen Alert. Even though this is not primarily a news blog, it may cover news items from time to time.
